First Impressions: This album is a classic "open up the f****** pit" kind of ensemble that commands your ears to listen and you mouth to sing along. Each song is a special kind of heavy. It has some explosive riffs and vocals are superb. NB Records is holding true to their name, serving up absolute filthy breakdowns while still giving unique tunes.
Likes and Dislikes: Obviously this album is heavy, a core jewel really. The unrelenting aggression mixed with the complex pre-breakdowns and full breakdowns present an absolute chaos filled experience. However, there are pauses in a few of the songs that will catch you off guard if aren't paying attention.
Fav Tracks: Ice Pick, Home (the pre-breakdown is just *chef's kiss*), Straight to Hell
Wrap-up:
Solid release with some seriously rich guitar work, good lyrics and, of course, deep, heavy screams that will swallow you whole. This is a band that knows what they are doing, and happy to keep giving it to their audience.
