*Note: this is a personal review and is in no way bashing this band or anyone involved*
First Impressions: The singles were all easily recognized. The songs didn't all sound the same, though they could been a tiny bit more creative and I wouldnt be angry. As a Christian band, they seem to have found a formula that allows them to share their message without being too overbearing. There's definitely some pinpointed screams that stay right in the middle of the pocket and are pleasing to the ear. As well as this, the songs aren't drawn out for too long, forcing to listen to actually pay attention. Additionally, I love the album art!
Likes and Dislikes: I like that the tracks tie together in a way that is interconnected without being cheesy. I don't care for the almost textbook straightforwardness, it's a tad bit predictable.
Favorite Tracks: Eulogies, Weight of Glory (absolutely mosh-worthy), Deadweight, Stop the Bleeding
Wrap-up: This is an enjoyable collection of tracks. The band has definitely created something that is pleasing and fans will like, including me. However, there could be a little less generic quality and a little more passion.
