*Note: this is a personal review and is in no way bashing this band or anyone involved* First Impressions: This album grabbed me by the collar and said "Fuck what you heard, listen to this!" The tracks are well constructed pieces with that signature hardcore flair that can only be done by masters of the genre. Alex Taylor's vocals leave nothing to be desired as he sears through each song with a vicious intensity. The traditional hardcore callouts are present throughout the entire album. There's a 'southern rock' vibe in some of the riffs that are dripping in sleeze and really grib you. Likes and Dislikes: I love the pace of the album. The songs are well written and don't rely on just heaviness; there was actual thought put into them. The vocals on a couple of the tracks do get a little choppy, however. Favorite Tracks: Life Sentence, Still Water Runs Deep, Karma Wrap-up: A fantastic release giving others in its genre a run for their money. There's a bit of a southern metal/rock element that adds a little extra spice to the mix and make it that much more enjoyable.
