Middle Missouri alternative band take us back to our angsty teen years when we were sad and angry and needed a song that explained our feelings because putting we didn't know how.
Reminiscent of a Three Days Grace track with a message and almost sickening playability, "Heaven doesn't look that far" feels familiar in the best way; that one song you played through you iPod Nano hoping someone would hear it and sing along with you. The song touches on the subject of suicide and pulling yourself out of a dark spot; without being too on the nose that is. In an interview we did together, (which is available on Spotify and most other podcast apps), the boys opened up a bit about this phenomenon. Their music has a quality that makes it enjoyable for differently tuned ears of all ages.
Radio friendly, dripping with tenderness and amity, Lifeline continues to construct music that belongs on any alternative music station or playlist. Well done boys.
