Left to Suffer Album Review

Artist: Left To Suffer

Album Title: And Dying Forever

Release Date: July 8

Score: 9.1/10

First Impressions: There is an eerie, wasteland kind of element that I enjoy. The songs aren't over done, but drummer Levi Dunn clearly understands how to add a little pizazz to each song. I immediately recognized 'Overwhelming Power', the single of the EP, as a strong, nasty track that set the tone for this release. Some of the songs have an electronic element in the mixing that keep them from getting stale.

Likes and Dislikes: Easily, the power and precision behind the mixing and mastering of these songs is almost too good. On the dislike side, however, I wished for a couple of key changes to really make a few of the songs pop.

Favorite Tracks: Weary, Whisper, Fatal Attraction (the cleans were well appreciated)

Wrap-up: A well done, pissed off album with some damn good drumming and a talented team behind it. Left To Suffer is poised to be a top release of this year.
