*Note: this is a personal review and is in no way bashing this band or anyone involved*
First Impressions: I've never heard of these fellas until recently, and I'm thoroughly upset about it. This EP had an interesting flow to it. The opening track Slow Emotions almost waits until you're not paying attention then BAM. Heavy riffs and growls attack your ear holes. Followed by Side Effects, which is straight up, in your face heavy. The rest of the EP follows up with some absolutely filthy tracks that really solidify the band's stance.
Likes and Dislikes: My only real dislike is that there aren't more songs. I love the fresh, crisp sound of each song. I like how they break away into a softer vocal on some parts then proceed to destroy your eardrums in others.
Favorite Tracks: Side Effects, Human Resources
Wrap-up: This was a no-brainer, heavy, bracing bunch of songs that really stood out in the string of releases this particular week. Well done, indeed.
